On any given evening, I’ll ride 3-4 horses and spend hours at the barn at the farm which is my favorite place to be. I enjoy my horses, hauling to competitive events across the midwest and have a cowboy church ministry where I share my faith through devotions or talks.
Gimmie Jo Jansonius has lived in rural Kansas her entire life and is the 6th generation in her family to be involved in production agriculture. Originally from southern Kansas, she now resides in northwest Kansas with her husband. They have a cow calf herd, small row crop farm, and direct beef sales enterprise where the 7th generation of their family has also put down roots and returned home. Having obtained her Bachelors of Science in Education from Newman University as well as a Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instructional Leadership from Emporia State, Gimmie Jo specialized in coursework related to leadership and educational law.

“Their son, an Animal Science and Industry major nearing graduation at Kansas State University, has his own cow calf herd and several AG enterprises. Their daughter serves as a Registered Nurse concurrently working on her Bachelors of Science in Nursing through Fort Hays State University.”
